just starting a new thread for this to get a good range of views [hopefully]
im planing on cooking roast chicken one day then making some thing else with the left over chicken the next day prob a rissotto or something
[ i have made some homemade veg stock, thanks to your suggestions and frozen it in bm storage bags,it looks a bit funny but im sure it will thicken up when i use it
dh said mmm this milk looks funny ]

but do you think the chicken is safe to use the next day ?
im aiming to give dd bit of what we eat weaning

it will be fine - rice can be a problem if rewarmed though so be careful if she is to have this too and really warm it through

cooked chicken is fine to re-use the next day (or even the day after that probably!!)

I use chicken anything up to 3 days afterwards if it has been refirgerated and is thoroughly re-heated.

I would be more wary of the rice and would cook that fresh.
