When do you offer solids before milk?

Hi

DD is 9 months old and has taken to solids pretty well. However I'm still breastfeeding first and then offering food roughly an hour later. Does there come a point where you're meant to offer solids first?

I'll be returning to work in a couple of months and am getting slightly worried that DD is still having 4 milk feeds a day, 2 of which I'll no longer be able to do.

Thanks Smile

The usual advice is 12 months but if you're back in 2 months, I'd start offering solids first from 10 months.

If you were FFing the baby would only need 400 mls of formula a day so I think it's safe to offer solids first from that age.
