How much does your 1 year old eat?

My LO has just turned 12 months and hardly seems to eat a thing!

He has 3 bottles of formula a day 8am, 12pm and 7pm. 8 oz at a time, although he doesn't usually finish them all.

Breakfast he does ok with - porridge then fruit and will eat 30g porridge with a couple of strawberries and a couple of raspberries. Or similar fruit.

Lunch I do after his nap so 2ish. I've tried to swap from pouches and jars onto homemade stuff. E.g. what mummy makes first curry, homemade pasta in a sauce with veg, etc. He will only eat about 1 tablespoons worth total if that. I usually follow this with a yoghurt/custard or something. When I used to give him a pouch or jar he would eat about half.

Tea is normally 5.30/6ish and I usually do him a sandwich or toast and some fruit. Or scrambled egg etc. Again he will only eat a tiny amount like a few bites. If I give him a banana as the fruit he will eat the whole thing (he loves banana).

Does this sound like enough food in a day? His weight is where it should be, but he is obviously still having a lot of milk. I have tried cutting it down (trying to get rid of that mid morning bottle), but he eats not more solids and then wakes in the night for a feed.

I'd drop a bottle. He only needs 10 floz a day and this includes milk on things like cereal. Once he's down to just that amount his appetite will pick up Smile
