Hello just after some advice!

DD is 6 months old and beginning the weaning journey.

She currently has 7oz at 8, 11,2,5,7 so 5 times a day. I have also started giving her some veggies around tea time.

My question is should she be having less bottles? Should i aim for a bottle every 4 hours? It's hard to tell when she's hungry as she's also teething so constantly knawing away!

Her weight is fine however she has jumped 1.5 percentiles, is this normal?

Thank you.

It all sounds pretty normal and there's no need to decrease any bottles yet. I'd leave it a couple of weeks and then introduce a second meal. You're aiming to get her onto 3 meals between 8 and 9 months according to the NHS guidelines Smile

This guide from the Caroline Walker Trust has some great ideas on first foods. Meant to put it in my first post but got distracted Smile

No problem. I found it really hard when I had my first to a. Think of things to give them and b. What sort of portion sizes to give. I think that guide pretty much covers both points Smile
