my little girl started on porridge at about 3 months, dont tell the health visitor!, since then she has had everything that i have cooked, from curry to avacado salad. she is not even two yet and loves garlic, and she loves onion! i have never been afraid of trying food on my little girl, and she eats everything now! scrambled egg with brown sauce even! just try with everything as if they dont have it then you will never know if they like it or not...x

I would say that your dd can have a go at all family food from now.

I did baby-led-weaning with mine which means the kids basically having family food from six months in chip-sized chunks. You just need to be around to supervise and expect a bit of gagging maybe but it just about experimenting. If you don't want to do that then sure blend what you're having.

I wouldn't bother introducing one at a time.

In terms of honey, I'd hold off til a year though because I believe there's a kind of spore that might be in honey sometimes that could maybe cause an unpleasant disease called botalism (sp!!!) so no honey, but the rest is fine.

here's a baby led weaning link

So if I'd have been you, I'd have cut up some lamb for dd to chew/gum on (gets taste and tiny bits off)

Alternaitvely whizz the lot and spoon feed but sounds fine to me!

Relax, for now it doesn't really matter if she eats a lot anyway, remember before one its just for fun!
