I posted previously for some snack ideas which was extremely helpful, and just wondered if anyone could give me some ideas of what to give my baby for lunch? The simpler and more convenient the better

DD loved "bits" which was basically a little bit of what're we had in, halved cherry tomatoes, cubes of cheese, hummus, raisins, bread sticks, that kind of thing. A bit like a mini buffet Grin

She was also a huge fan of eggy bread.

DS would have happily lived of cheese sandwiches Smile

Scrambled egg on toast
Egg and soldiers
Mini frittata muffins
Omelette
Falafel and strips of pitta bread. If I don’t have time to make my own falafel, I use these www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/305040749
Cheddar/mozzarella/cream cheese on toast
Savoury flapjacks
Sausage rolls
Tuna sweetcorn pasta
Pesto pasta

Mine is nearly 12 months and here's some things she likes:
Cheese or beans on toast.

I sometimes do a big thing of slow cooker veg & lentil soup and then freeze in portions to have with bread for lunch.

Feed Your Family for £20 a week has a recipe for cheese bites which go very well with tomato or tomato soup.

Possibly more faff than you want but I had some pastry left over the other day and made mini-quiches which were a great hit (I just did cheese and egg, but you could put veg or meat in as well if you wanted). For less faff I suppose you could do crustless quiche, so make quiche filling and bake in a muffin tin to get individual portions.

Homemade soup and bits of bread thrown in like 'ducks'

Dd's childhood favourite!
