Is there a problem with the forum I am getting prompted for a password and login id to get to "private area"?!?!?!

I have this too, glad it's not just me... My login details don't actually work either

don't panic, there's some problem but i don't know what. i've been out all day, i've emailed the techie chap so hopefully he'll be onto it soon. soz.
