Little boy ( has never really been little) 9 months old and has always been a great eater was on 9oz bottles very early on and eats very well! Went to MIL today and mentioned he has 1 & 1/2 weetabix with fruit most morning and she seemed horrified at this like I was over feeding him! ... I always take his food away if he seems uninterested so it's not like I'm forcing him to eat it but now I'm wondering is it really that bad? I try to alternate between weetabix one day and porridge the next so it's not every day? He's now in 3 meals a day with a 9oz bottle morning and night.

Look on first steps nutrition website for portion sizes

My son always ate tons in the morning and then less later in the day. Weetabix with fruit is a fab breakfast, don’t worry about it!

Though the Weetabix poos still haunt my dreams haha

If he wasn't hungry he wouldn't eat it! One of my 11m DSs favourite meals is sardine and weetabix fishcakes!

1/2 tin of sardines
1 weetabix
1 egg

mix altogether and form into cakes and fry for 1-2mins per side. He can have the lot for breakfast!
