Any suggestions for some simple snacks in between breakfast and lunch, and in between lunch and dinner? The more simple and convenient, the better I think

Fruit
raw veg sticks
dried fruit
toast (and peanut butter/cream cheese etc)
cheese cubes
yoghurt
bread sticks
plain popcorn
dry cereal pieces
a few child-friendly crisps etc
muesli bar/flapjack

This is brilliant, thank you. Regarding the raw veg sticks, I thought I read not to give them that as they can choke on them?

Cucumber and courgette (raw) sticks should be soft enough.

I have a freezer stash of things like:

Savoury pinwheels - mozzerella and pesto
Sweet pinwheels - peanut butter & banana
Raspberry muffins
Mini courgette frittatas
Sweetcorn, carrot and courgette sheet pan fritters

I bag them up in 4s and defrost them overnight for the morning.

At 12 months they should be fine with veg sticks as long as they are supervised.

Cheerios dry or raisins do keep them quiet for a little bit...

How are you getting on with the new snacks @Habaneroh? Smile

Super quick microwave omelette. Just break an egg into a microwaveable bowl, give it a quick mix, add some grated cheese if you like but not necessary, then microwave for 1 min.

Not the delicious buttery, cheesey flavoured omelette that you'd make for a main meal with a side salad, but DD loved it and easy to slice into strips/chunks and eat with fingers.
