Muller light yoghurts.

Morning everyone.

So I'm doing baby led weaning, and I have tried a variety of yoghurts the little pot ones etc. She has refused every single one. Even tried mixing with something and was met with a no.

I was eating a muller light yoghurt this morning toffee 🤦🏼‍♀️ and I gave her some - she was demanding it. I have tried the same technique with the other yoghurts but didn't eat them but loved the muller light one.

Is this OK to give her? I know may seem silly but it's light one. But first ingredient is milk so I guess that's something 🤷🏼‍♀️

Does it have artificial sweeteners?
How much sugar?
Toffee maybe not the best flavour to give

Have just checked the ingredients and it would be a no from me due to the artificial sweeteners as they aren't suitable for babies/toddlers

It has artificial sweeteners in.

I didn't think it was the best but won't eat any other yoghurt 😂

No. Babies need full fat dairy with no weird added things like sweeteners.

Don’t eat them in front of her, and keep offering full fat Greek yogurt with fruit purée. If she doesn’t like it no big deal, she’s still having milk etc for calcium.

Yogurt (Milk), Water, Modified Maize Starch, Flavourings, Colour: Plain Caramel, Salt, Sweeteners: Aspartame, Acesulfame K, Stabiliser: Pectins

It's a definite no from me, and nothing food wise bothers me. No wonder she liked it, it's sickly sweet and totally artificial. My teen ds's like them!

@Pickle2021 it's an absolute no from me too. I don't think they are suitable.

All babies and toddlers love fruit!
So why not try Greek yogurt with some purée apples or blueberries..squash the blueberries so you get that rich colour into the yogurt...pear is also a good one, purée pear.

Better still have some yourself and make out it's the best thing in the world!! You never know - might work! "I want what mums having!"

Good luck.
