Water for 6MO

Does anyone know if water still has to be boiled and then cooled for a 6mo? Or is it OK to give him tap water? I cannot remember what I did for DS1 and can't find anything on google. Thanks.

Boiled and cooked up to 12m when mine were small and I would do the same again if I was to have another baby.

no need to boil after 6m
