Hi so I'm after as much advice as possible so please feel free to share what has worked for you as I'm at a loss

I'm a ftm to a 6.5m old ds, we started weaning slight early around 5.5 months as he showed all the ready signs and since then he has been great at eating whatever I put in front of him (mainly purée veg but I have stared with some finger foods like cucumber sticks, toast the baby foods like wafers and puffs that melt in the mouth)

But I'm struggling to fine lunch ideas? He's been have a breakfast which is normally weatabix or porridge and I tea but I was giving him his milk for lunch to ensure he was getting enough but now he's more interested in the food and will refuse milk in the day so it's becoming a battle to get the milk down does anyone have any ideas so either lunch ideas? And is this normal for him not to want the milk as much?

Lunches at that age I'd do:-
Omelette cut into fingers
Quesadilla (wrap, topped with grated cheese, folded, fry in a dry frying pan), slice into fingers
Chicken breast cooked then split into strips (did a few portipns)

All with a couple of steamed broccoli florets, a scoop of yoghurt, bit of banana

My baby likes those little pasta stars and so she often has tuna pasta (tuna, tomatoes, pureed sweetcorn), roasted red pepper pasta, pasta with pesto and peas.

Toast and hummus is a big hit here too.

Aw thank you 😊 Ill definitely be doing some of these today he's had cucumber and a yogurt (then half of my dinner as he could help himself but to grab at it 😂)

My DS is 8 months and lunch is the meal I've struggled with most, mainly cos I rarely sit down and eat lunch (we're usually out and about!) But now we've got in the habit and I'm keeping it simple with:

Avocado or cream cheese on toast
Crumpets (various toppings)
Omelette
Tuna pasta
Houmous and pitta bread
