Diarrhoea issues

Apologies I posted this message in another group and realised it was the wrong forum as I didn't realise there was a weaning board. I hope someone can help me here...

Would like a bit of advice please. I know that it's quite common for babies to get diarrhoea when they're weaning but my DD (6 months) seems to be having it all of the time. She has one solid meal a day and the rest are formula bottles. We are using the 'How to Wean your Baby' book which is really good for us as it really breaks the whole process down easily). DD seems to enjoy the solids when she has them and doesn't seem to make much of a fuss with the diarrhoea but it's concerning me that nothing is (sorry for being so crass) hardening up. It's occurred to me that she's not done a proper poo in a few days now. She is also having a bit of water in her sippy cup too. When does it go back to normal?

Thanks

We've had a constant 7 weeks of diarrhoea to the point We've contacted the gp (as useless as that was)

At first we put it down to teething, then he started nursery so is getting all the bugs going. PBut nothings made it better.. we had switched to number 2 milk shortly before so have gone back to number 1 milk and day 2 it's alot better than it was.

What I'm trying to say is.. could be teething or changes to diet or simply a bug but they say after 2 weeks to contact the gp.

Oh my gosh 7 weeks?! Did you get to the bottom of what was causing it? We've had some slightly more solid ones the past couple of days since we've moved her back to stage 1 formula but this afternoon wasn't so good. It has a bit of sour smell to it... going to contact the GP

It was a nightmare tbh I dreaded going anywhere as soon as we went out we'd have to change him as his nappies constantly leaked. That's a while different story 🙈

His bum got really sore too bless him, but We've had a day free of it now since going back to no.1 milk so hoping the no.2 milk was the issue..
