How many bottles and ml a day should a 9 month old be having?

Currently having four a day. I've read stuff that says to transition to 3 bottles before 10 months and should have 500-600ml for the first year. But my HV is saying he should be on two bottles by now. 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening and having 480ml in total?

I think my DS was having around 3 or 4 8oz bottles a day around this age

Meh, do what works for you. Mine had 4 bottles at 8 months, 3 by 9 months and 2 by 11 months.

Think nhs says at 10 - 12 months they may take around 400mls but then says you should give a vitamin supplement if taking under 500mls.

Be guided by your baby rather than your hv

In fact nhs suggests it's perfectly normal for there to be 3 feeds between 10-12 months so don't know why she's saying only 2 are necessary

Thanks all. I'm normally really confident and in agreement with what she says but this one threw me off. Think I'll stick with 3 bottles with a minimum of 500ml
