Cup for 9 month old to drink water out of

He's only ever used mam bottles for milk. I'm trying to get him to sip water out of some of the mam trainer cups and he just keeps biting them (thinking perhaps I should've started before he had teeth)? I've tried just a normal handled cup and the water goes all down him and none in his mouth. Any suggestions please?

Have you tried a doidy cup? Both of mine liked them - although most of the water still got dumped down their fronts

Mine never liked sippy cups or water at this age. Despite what people will tell you, I've yet to meet a baby who drinks properly from a cup at this age.

I'd just keep trying with the sippy cups. They will get there.

We just used normal cups/beakers.

Ha ha my daughter just could fathom the 360 after using a Doidy cup. We switched from the Doidy to a small plastic tumbler at mealtimes and she has a sippy bottle when she’s playing etc

I'm finding a plain old open cup is working fit my baby of the same age and we've tried loads of different ones! I hold a cloth under her chin and allow the water to touch her lips and she takes some in. I take a sip first so she can copy me.

360 cups. Because the worst bit isn't the drinking but what they do the instant they're bored of drinking...
