No, his weight makes no difference.

I found my babies were obsessed with anything I was doing at this age. But when they watched me read, I wasn't tempted to start teaching them the alphabet ...

hoxtonchick · 25/11/2007 12:24

'tis only another 6 weeks tutter, i'd try & hold out if i were you.

vitomum · 25/11/2007 12:24

give him the pizza

mears · 25/11/2007 12:25

Watching you eat is a fascination, not a sign of hunger. His weight isn't a sign of gut maturity either. I would hang off personally.

Tutter · 25/11/2007 12:25

it is waitrose pizza

DS3 started doing that around the same age....we started BLW with him, if he took it, he took it (and he often did LOL), and if he didn't he didn't (not very often).

Tutter · 25/11/2007 12:26

ok

better read up on aitch's blog - fancy the idea of blw this time

pizza crust in 6 weeks then...

Tutter - DS3 had morrisons pizza the other day (day before his "6 months birthday" ....and garlic bread)

TheQueenOfQuotes · 25/11/2007 12:28

Tutter - Aitch has some photos of DS3 (at 5 months (tucking in merrily ).

I came to the conclusion that if I was BLW he would only take the food if he was ready for it......and he evidently was.....oh and he LOVED his pizza the other night - ate more of that than he's eaten of anything else LOL.

Tutter · 25/11/2007 12:28

have been left home alone with boys - dh at tennios

  • it was the fresh Morrisons pizza......does that make it fractionally better? (we don't have waitrose round these parts......not posh enough )
Tutter · 25/11/2007 18:33

yes, QoQ, that is marginally more acceptable than a frozen branded pizza bought in morrisons
