I wish to stop breast feeding as my DD is 8 months. For 4 months of her life I had terrible thrush on my breast which has left nipple damaged. It's all cleared up now and has been since 2 months ago. My nipple regulary hurts every now and then.
She refuses a bottle so any tips?
Do I keep offering it to her and not the breast and put up with a bit of crying?
My DP works alot and I am living at the other end of the country from family so I have to do this on my own.

You can offer a sippy cup or a doidy cup.

You can feed only on the non-damaged nipple.

If possible, it's better to tail off feeds, rather than drop bf all at once, as you will be in pain if you do that.
