weaning from breast to bottle

My DD 8 months and want to stop breast feeding as I want a life!!!
Heard so many stories of babies sleeping better once stopped breast feeding.
I had thrush on my breast for 4 months, it's now cleared up for about 2 months but left me with a damaged nipple which hurts every now and then.
She refuses a bottle, any tips?

have you tried a cup?

At that age I would bypass a bottle and go straight to a sippy cup.
