Trouble weaning my baby

Hi , so I just wanted to see if anyone has had the same problems as me. My baby is 7 months old, at around 5 months I starting weaning her on baby porridge, 4+ month foods, she absolutely loved them and I couldn't get it in her mouth quick enough, two weeks later she completely stopped opening her mouth and will seal her lips so you cannot get the spoon in. I know babies can go off the eve food for a few days so I gave her a week break but she is now 7 months and still doesn't want any food. I have tried finger food and she doesn't seem to put it in her mouth.

She is still having milk however this is becoming a struggle as well.

I have tried to contact a HV and was told I'd get a call back which didn't happen - feel like I've had zero support with covid. So I thought I would see if any one has had the same problem?

Thank you

Is she teething?

I'd just stick with making food fun and non confrontational. Sit down and eat together with the same picnic type finger foods and let her explore in her own time.

Haven't had this problem myself but was going to suggest finger foods which I can see you've already done :)

Have you tried giving her the spoon to see if she will feed herself?

I've only just started weaning so don't really have any advice but it's likely it's just a phase.
