Hate Baby Led Weaning, when does spitting of all the food stops?

I would have never chosen to go down BLW route, but my baby absolutely refuses any pureed food or being fed in general. We had terrible problems with BF too, poor weight gain aversion etc.
I did purees with my other two children , so never experienced this before. Six weeks in and all my LO seems to do is bite a chunk off chew a bit then spit out. I don't think any food even goes in. Honestly not sure what the point of it is .
Will this pass? Or does anyone have any idea how I can get any sort of nourishment (bar milk) in to the baby that refuses to be fed?
P. S. Not sure if this makes a difference, but baby has reflux that is medicated.

They do get there eventually, it's more of a gradual process. Until they're 1 their main source of nutrition is their milk so the 6 months between being 6 months and 12 months is about them gradually learning about foods, tastes and textures.
I had the full range with mine, one that ate loads straight away and one that didn't really eat anything much until she was 2 and then two in between that.
As long as your baby is happy and growing then it's going well.

Sounds very much like my DS. He had tongue tie. Could it be that?
