10 Month Old Weaning

My DS is 10 months old in a couple of days. His normal routine is:
Wake up 7.30 - 7oz Bottle
8.30 - Breakfast
12.30 - Lunch
2.30 - 7oz Bottle
5.30 - Dinner
7.30 - 7oz Bottle then bed.

Lately he’s only having about 3-5oz in the morning, I don’t know if it’s because he’s ready to drop that feed or because he’s wanting to go and play, he’s really keen on trying to walk around the furniture at the moment or with his Walker about the living room. I feel like it’s too soon to only be having 2 bottles a day and I’m sure 14oz a day isn’t enough for his age. Can anybody tell me your routines/how much your LO has around this age? :)

Sorry for long post!

At 10 months 400mls is recommended which is 13/14 oz I think. Can you not just offer a smaller amount rather than dropping it?

I could do yes, it’s only been the past week which he hasn’t been drinking all of it, I just wasn’t sure if it was a sign he’s ready to drop it. Seems a long time to go until his next milk feed at 2.30

Agree with demented that they only need 400 ml between 10 and 12 months before it drops down to 300 ml at 12 months.

How about giving breakfast with a cup of milk at 7 and then a small snack around 10 am? Could that work?
