Weaning woes almost 8 month old

Hello all,

My DD has CMPA and also doesn't seem to tolerate wheat very well. We were advised to wean early due to reflux which fortunately has really improved :) When we first started weaning at 5 months, she seemed to love solids and would pretty much down anything I gave her. This last month though, she's gone off her food and I'm lucky if I can even get 1 meal down her during the day. Could this be due to teething? She seems to have been teething FOREVER and I have noticed she accepts really runny puree a lot better than stuff that's slightly bitty.

My other question is...I need meal ideas! I've never been much of a cook but her allergies are pushing me to experiment in the kitchen a lot more :) so far I've been giving her things like butternut squash, steamed courgette, mashed potato, porridge for breakfast, pasta (blended up slightly), celeriac mash, mushy peas, carrots, avocado. I do want to introduce fish and poultry but I think her initial CMPA days (when I didn't know what was causing her symptoms) have traumatised me into giving her very simply foods...I'm working on it. I'm struggling for snack ideas- I give her rice cakes sometimes and strips of fruit or cucumber...but I don't want her to get used to mostly sweet snacks. Any ideas? I'm happy to bake/cook stuff myself for her but I just don't know what. I guess the one positive from her allergies is that I am only giving her "proper" unprocessed food.

I would really appreciate any advice. And also a little hope lol- when did your babies grow out of their allergies?
