We have done the ice cube thing for savoury and he has munched his way through it, he does like sweet more though and I give him yoghurt and custard etc - have started pureeing down what his brothers eat e.g bolognese/cottage pie now - but he isn't into lumps yet and just gags - he is also feeling poorly with a chest infection - so want to offer him some yummy food without constantly giving into giving him the organix fruit pots which he loves.... come on and inspire me what I can make for him! Think comfort food for the most yummy baby on the planet

You say he doesn't do lumps - how is he with finger food? My DS has a nasty cough at the mo and has really cut down on what he eats but sat quite happily this lunchtime gumming cheese on toast to death. He is another fruit pot addict. Try tomato soup, or banana custard - its got fruit in!
Sprouts don't count as comfort food!

he is happy chewing finger food but if he gets a lump he gags - will try tomato soup!

it's ok if he gags, that's how they get used to proper food. at 7 months i'd just give him what you're making the other children, not blended, just as is.
