6 month gone off milk?!

I have started weaning my 6 mo DS. He is doing well with his weight and generally likes his food, but he has completely done off his formula milk! He started going off it before weaning for a little while then started drinking again. Now he just won't drink it after starting solids. He only has two proper meals a day.

He strangely drinks at night when he's drowsy but won't in the day. I have to wait until he's really hungry and feed him in my bedrooM with the lights dim for him to even have a little and then he takes it out of his mouth. He starts drinking fine but only take a couple of ounces.

What could it be? It's worrying me.

I try and give him 4 milk feeds a day, he used to have 7oz bottles. The still has a feed around 10pm as he naturally wakes up then and settles after the feed.

Hi, my son did this aged 4 months it was years ago when we could wean early. He just totally refused I was bottle feeding and wondered wether it was the teat he didn’t like so spoke to the health visitor. She advised to make his meals very sloppy with more gravy, and to give yogurt mixed with formula or anything that could be mixed with his milk. He never took to milk again, but he was fine, he didn’t loose weight he just ate everything in sight so obviously got everything he needed.
