Hi all
DD suffered from quite bad reflux and we were advised by paeds to wean early. Started weaning at 5months and she took to solids REALLY well :) reflux is way more manageable and not really an issue anymore...but she is just so disinterested in milk! We were initially BF but due to weight concerns started mixed feeding, which we still do now (or try to). I feel like if I didn't offer her milk, she wouldn't ask for it! She likes to BF for comfort and to sleep, but other than that it can be a real mission getting much milk into her. She's also very easily distracted which doesn't help. I try and add formula or EBM to her solids to make it a bit more calorie rich, but would really just be less stressed if she would go back to her old BF schedule...delusional I know. Anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice would be welcome. I have cut down on solids last few days but I still don't think she's having enough milk.

Go with the flow. Just make sure she gets lots of full fat dairy products. She can have cows milk with cereal and in cooking, cheese, yogurts and cream. If you’re feeding her purées, add grated cheese or cream. You could also try her with a sippy cup.
