Yippeeyayyay a BLW breakthrough

Have been doing this BLW lark for about 3 weeks and was getting a bit down as DD would only ever nibble a tiny bit from any food offered pull a yuk face and throw it all on the floor.

BUT then today we met DH in the park for a picnic lunch and she grabbed his pear and munched enthusiastically at it for a good 5 mins with juice dribbling down her chin. Pear has previously been rejected maybe this was riper or the magic of daddy who knows??

It gives me hope and encourages me to leave the jar of banana custard my mum bought in the cupboard.

hurrah!

(eat the custard yourself)

Good plan then at least mum won't be offended next time she comes round.

yay! picnics are great for encouraging them to eat. just ask habbibu, it's her answer to everything.

Aitch, please post that on the "what do you know about MNers" thread. Then I'll know I've arrived...

We call it "Greengrass Syndrome". What Tink hasn't got is always better than what she has!
