Hi All,

I started weaning my baby at 5 months as he was definitely ready for it! He took to it very well! But, I don't know when to up his meals...
so for the past month, he has been having 1 meal at 6:30pm. When do I up it to include breakfast and lunch? And how do I fit it into his routine?
His current feeding schedule is:
Bottle - 8am
Bottle - Midday
Bottle - 4pm
Food - 6:30pm
Bottle - 8pm

Bedtime is at 8:30pm and sleeps through the night so no night feeds.

Before his 8am and lunch time feed offer him some food

Sorry that was brief Blush
If he's doing well so far and is 6 months you could start trying food more times a day now, if you wanted. The idea would be that over months as he eats more and more he would then drop feeds gradually.

They don't need to be offered food 3 times a day until they are between 8 and 9 months. This is to ensure that they get enough milk.

So I wouldn't worry about another meal until he's around 7 months then perhaps try breakfast at 9 am or lunch at 11 am, whichever suits you better.
