Ideas for BLW?!

Feel like I'm stuck in a rut with 7mo DS! Please can someone help me out with a few ideas for meals to give him?

Here's the things I always tend to give him

Breakfasts:
Toast fingers with peanut butter
Toast fingers with avocado
Porridge/oats (sometimes with fruit puree mixed in)
Banana fingers/half with skin piece left on (not keen)

Lunches/dinners:
Steamed veggies (sweet potato/carrots/broccoli so far)
Ellas kitchen 7m+ pouches

Snacks:
Melty puffs/sticks
Flavoured Rice cakes
Fruit crackers/biscuits (tried spreading things on but he hates the feeling in his hands!)

I would love to start giving him more 'normal' food that I eat myself such as a bagel with hummus or a sandwich here and there!
We don't really eat animals products much btw although he is on 3 9oz formula bottles a day.

What did you feed your DC?

How about a day like this.

Breakfast porridge fingers or vegan blueberry pancakes

Lunch bagel with hummus or violife cheese spread on toast with some halved cherry tomatoes.

Tea/Dinner veggie Bolognase with pasta. There's a good recipe for Baby Dahl in the weaning recipes on MN too Smile

Do you have Instagram? If so I found Joe wicks weaning account quite helpful for ideas/recipes it's called weanin15_
Just starting weaning my second dd now and I have got his wean in 15 book too and seems to be good so far.

A second vote for Wean in 15. I was sceptical at first because it seemed like the flavours were a bit adventurous for a baby but my almost-eight-month old has demolished almost everything we set in front of him

Sweet potato chips

Sweetcorn fritters

Pancakes with fruit

Egg muffins with veggies added

Cooked carrot sticks

Cod
Salmon
I used to love blw, so easy just to cook veggies up and give them bits of my own dinner.

Falafel www.nhs.uk/start4life/weaning/recipes-and-meal-ideas/falafel/

I used to make this (with white pasta, not wholemeal) for my lunch realfood.tesco.com/recipes/broccoli-pesto-penne-with-chilli-and-garlic-sizzle.html and give a few bits of pasta to DD.

Veggie balls www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/veggie-balls/

This lentil slice makes great finger food www.healthylittlefoodies.com/curried-lentil-bake/
