Blue milk refusal to drink/eat

Hi,

I'm just looking for some advice on weaning my one year old onto blue milk.

He's only just turned one and I know it's not like a switch that suddenly makes them love blue milk, but he's never had an aversion to any food before and he has a breakdown each time I try the blue milk.

He's fine with dairy, has plenty of butter and cheese. He was breastfed til 4 months and has been on formula since. Eats really well.

Has a bottle of a morning and then one before bed.

I've tried a bottle of blue milk, instant refusal. I've been putting hints of it in his muesli, scrambled eggs and he point blank refuses to eat them even though he loves them otherwise.

It's still early days but just wondering what other mums/dads did when they were weaning?

Any help is really appreciated x

Have you tried part formula part blue milk? Keep it formula heavy then gradually start reducing it until completely blue.

What about warming the milk or if you already do that try giving it cold.

@lemorella honestly I didn't think you could mix them haha, I'll definetly be trying that! I usually
Give it warm and he likes it but he's drank it cool too so will try that.

Yes it's completely safe as long as you make the formula according to normal instructions and add in blue milk after. Smile
