It’s been 8 years since I did this so have forgotten what to do....
Advised by dietitian to wean ds at 5.5 months due to severe reflux. At the moment we are just offering veg at dinner from what ever we are having. Most of which is being sucked and mushed around the table. Do you need to give purée to ensure they are taking a good sized meal before moving on to offering breakfast or a second ‘meal’? How do I know when to drop a bottle? At what point should they be having three meals? Isn’t a baby who is being spoon fed purée going to be taking in more food than one that is blw - therefore they will move on to 2/3 meals a day quicker?

I am a big baby led weaning advocate but baring in mind your child is on the younger side of weaning for medical reasons, I would be tempted to do a mixture of purée to make sure they're getting a decent portion then finger foods and baby led weaning ideas around that.

12:381Pinkfluffyelephant - I'm the same as you it's been 8 years since I did the whole weaning process and I've forgotten everything I did with my oldest.
My LG takes rusk for breakfast perfectly fine so today I thought i would mix it up and offer her something at tea time instead which turned into a disaster because she was sick Sad which made me feel like a terrible mother.
Maybe I just didn't leave it enough time between her last bottle and when i tried to give her some 'tea'. Made me feel really deflated. Esp as I've done it all before but can't remember anything Hmm
