What foods at 6 months?

There seems to be a lot of conflicting advice - has anyone got a list of foods that I can give my son at 6 months - finger foods, and spoon stuff?

Practically anything except honey, and whole peanuts IIRC.

Cows milk is fine added to cereal or used in cooking, but shouldn't replace the main milk drink.

If you have any allergies in your family then it might be worth steering clear of these for a bit, otherwise, go for it!

what jojay said

just make sure you watch salt levels, so no processed foods, and no adding salt to cooking.

you don't need to be over cautious as you would be if you did early weaning from say 4 months.

there are a couple of REALLY strict lists here down at the right hand side that you can use/ignore as a guideline.
