Hi there
I’m currently weaning my 6 month old I’m stuggling with portions as I don’t want to over feed but don’t want her hungry either she’s ofcourse still on formula to.
She’s currently having lunch and dinner with half a yogurt pouch after each.
The lunch or dinner is usually an Ellas kitchen 120g pouch or cow and gate jar.
She takes it well and doesn’t spit up after is this to much?

Go at her pace, so if she takes it well, then it’s probably fine. Having said that, the yogurt might be a bit unnecessary as she’s still getting enough calcium and other nutrients from milk. It depends on whether she’s a good drinker really.

Take your lead from her OP. Some babies take to solid food really quickly while others take a lot longer, but it doesn't really matter as they'll naturally adjust their milk intake to match. My DS1 was eating three good meals a day by 7 months but cut down on his milk, other babies are the opposite.

IMO you can't over feed a 6mo baby as long as you follow their cues. They are really good at self regulating at this age. It's when they discover chocolate etc that you have to be careful!
