I'm wanting to try DS with apple puree today, but should I cook them first or do I just puree them washed n peeled?

how old is he?

peel, slice, put in a touch of water and cook down. they dont take long.

chop them up a bit and bung them in the microwave for a minute with some water. It will "stew" them and make them much softer and easier to puree
