Kiwi fruit

Is Kiwi a kind of normal ok fruit to give a 7 month old? am travelling and have an organic one. thought it might be ok to mash up. my HV said something about avoiding citrus fruit.dont think kiwi is a citrus fruit? what about the seeds - are they ok for him to have?

Kiwi is quite a common allergen. Not usre what age it is recommended.

dunno whaen it is recommended but ui have a severe allergy to kiwi, i don't know how common it is thou.

it's related to latex allergies, i think. i'd give it a miss. (but then i hate kiwi fruit).

HV told me it was one of the common allergenic ones, like strawberries. She said to try it when someone else was around just in case

In the event, dd2 was just 8 months when she tried it and no allergy - she loves the stuff now.

i have latex allergy too they are related thou they don't look alike
