Dropping bottle feeds

DS has just turned 12 months. He has 3 meals a day and 3 bottles - one mid morning, one mid afternoon and one at bedtime. How do I go about dropping these feeds? Swap the morning and afternoon bottles for cows milk? Swap them for snacks? Just drop the bedtime bottle altogether? I'm not really sure what to do so any advice gratefully received.

I did it gradually. Dropped the afternoon bottle first and replaced with a snack and water (in a sippy cup). Then replaced morning and bedtime formula bottle with cow's milk. Dropped the morning bottle soon after as baby was drinking cow's milk from sippy cup and eating a big breakfast. However, I kept bedtime bottle for ages... I was worried baby wouldn't sleep through and I enjoyed the cuddles! I still give a smoothie pouch and sippy cup of milk at bedtime and mine is 21 months.

Drop the afternoon one first and replace with water and a snack if they are hungry. My daughter is nearly 11 months and we are just on 8oz morning and bed time at the moment.
