Not sure if I’m expecting my 16 month DS to eat too much but I feel Like he doesn’t get that much, but I have no idea about portion size!
So yesterday for breakfast he has 1/4 slice of bread with philly on it and 4 shredded wheat. Then about 4 apricots for a snack. Lunch he had about 8 bits of pasta with a spinach sauce and about 15 blueberries. Afternoon snack was half a hot cross bun then for dinner 2 eggs scrambled and 7 grapes and a yoghurt. He has about 10oz of blue milk and one boob feed a day. Does that sound about right?! Obviously can’t get him weighed at the moment but before he was on his centile!

Also, what kind of things do you give your 16 months old and how much?
We’re in a bit of a rut. He eats far toooo many eggs and week and won’t eat and veg bar sweet corn!! Thank you

So I can tell you what my DS has but I actually am just taking a guess at when he should have what...

Yesterday he had...
6.30am 5oz Blue Milk
7.30am toast (1 slice brown cut into Squares - he generally eats 2 sometimes 3 Squares)
9.30am 2 Strawberries, 3 grapes sliced up with a few raisins
11.30/12.00 He had sweet potato, beef, broccoli and sweetcorn
3.00pm he had a mini fromage frais yoghurt and a finger of melon
4.30pm he had a quarter slice of ham and scrambled eggs (1 egg)
6.30pm he had a few mini organix animals biscuits
7.00pm ish he had his blue milk before bed (approx 8oz)

He does still wake once during night so possibly will look at something a little more filling later in the day.

He has water whenever he wants it during the day too.

My son is 17 months, I find his appetite and food intake is very changeable some days he just doesn't seem fussed at all and others eats loads.

He always has a huge breakfast.

7.30am 5oz whole milk
8am- 8.30am Big ish bowl of porridge with raspberries in and 3 sticks of toast with peanut butter
11.15 lunch - pitta bread, cucumber, cheese, ham, fruit - usually things like that.
2.30pm 5oz milk and a baby biscuit, grapes cut up
5pm dinner - his favourite is curry, homemade pizzas, bean stew, casserole etc
7pm - milk before bed.
