In weeks, and what was their first food?

ds1 starving! and collicy 3 mnth rice lots off.. dd1 7mnth straight onto blended veg .. ds2 6mnth rice, veg ... all children mash potatoe soon as i thought they could cope also weetabix life saver x

25 and a bit weeks, she grabbed a peach out of my hand.

dd1 four months, pureed pear and baby rice followed by endless weeks of expressing and mashing and cooling
dd2 six months, soft cooked carrot stick and courgette spear

my sleep deprivation has done away with such detail but i shall try to summon what i can for the sake of the straw...

ds1 - about 4m, baby rice i think. with ebm
ds2 - god, i dunno... about 5m?? whatevr was handy, squished.
ds3 - 6m, blw finger foods.

weeks? I haven't a clue!
ds - 5 months and a bit started with banana went on to veg soup
dd - 7 months and a bit, veg soup

DS1 26 weeks (or a couple of days before, iirc) - carrot.

DS2 27+3 - chunk of banana.

5 months (sorry, think 23 weeks) - banana cut in strips.

Both with Carrots
DS: 13 weeks
DD: 5 and a half months

Sorry, DD was 24 weeks or something ... just before her 6 month birthday

Actually, no, DS was Baby Rice with Formula (SMA in fact) at 13 weeks.

DD about 15/16 weeks I gave her tastes of stuff we were eating, literally tiny tastes, when at about 17ish weeks I realised she was really liking it I started weaning properly. Not sure on first food but was probably veg of some sort. Carrots probably

Between 6 and 7 months.

First foods - vegetables that the rest of us were eating.

DS1 - 23 or 24 weeks and I think it was either bananas or applesauce

Ds2 - 27 or 28 weeks and pear.

Nappiesgalore you are nearly right.

DS3 is 21-22 weeks now.

The other 2 were weaned at 17 and 20 weeks with baby rice.

I too am exceedingly sleep deprived. can't think straight.

It seems we have anything from 13 weeks (ghosty) to 7.5 months (a couple of you)

Talk about extremes.

First two on baby rice. Third on quavers and chocolate buttons.

DS 24 weeks rice & EBM
DD 24 weeks rice & EBM

25 weeks- A piece of brocolli

DD 18 weeks on baby rice (1986)
DS 9 months on baby rice (1992)

ds1 16 weeks
ds2 15 weeks
ds3 16 weeks

All on baby porridge then carrot or apple.

DD1 around 26 weeks, actually 6 calendar months to the day (2004)
DD2 ditto (2007)

First foods both times was baby rice then stewed apple after a couple of weeks. Can´t remember with DD1 but DD2 didn´t seem to actually swallow much for the first month of weaning.

I'm trying to wait and hope to do BLW (DS currently 15wks) but whilst out for dinner on Friday, discovered a friend was surreptitiously feeding him strawberry icecream off her finger from her daughter's bowl

He's now got a gastro bug/really upset tummy which I am entirely blaming her for!!
