When in the day to first try foods?

My DD is turning 6 months and we are just about to start weaning. My question is, when in the daytime should I give her a little bit to try? I’m planning on giving her some purées first to see how it goes and then some finger foods. She is FF and our current feeds are 7am, 11am, 2.45pm, 6pm and 11pm.
Do I give her half the bottle at 11am and then a little bit of food and then finish the bottle? Or give her the whole bottle and then give her a bit of food at 12? I’m probably really over thinking it.
I should add she is a VERY sicky baby. Projectile vomit at least once a day so want to do it when it’s best for her.

I'd go for food at 12pm.

Don't let the food interfere with the milk yet. It's just a taste to begin with.

Give food about half an hour after a bottle.

Although actually, with my second DC I just plonked him in front of food whenever I was eating. Right from the start, if I was having fish pie, he'd sit at the table with me and DC1 and have fish pie too. I think it's good for them to see you eating too.

Good luck! Don't expect them to eat too much in the first couple of months.

Thank you both for your advice!
We’ll go for 12 as that’s long enough after her feed but before her nap.
