had a conversation with the HV today about DS3' being on solids.

She said "Is he on finger foods now?"
Me: "Errr, yes, he eats mostly finger foods actually...."

Really sorry (especially to aitch!) that I didn't say "Oh, I'm doing baby led weaning" - I was tried and it was nearly time to pick up DS1 and 2 from school and I wasn't sure if I could handle the explanation

Lots of babies eat only finger foods, it really really shouldn't phase any health visitor

oh LOL we were discussing this on the blw site, loads of us just mutter something about finger foods and self-feeding... who can honestly be bothered going round educating HVs all the time?
