Give milk after lunch? (7mo)

So my babies routine is -

Wake anytime from 5-6 (working on that being later lol)

6.30/7 - 8oz milk
7.45 - baby porridge/fruit purée
8.30/9 - nap
10.30/11 - 8oz milk
12 - lunch
12.30/1 - nap
3/3.30 - 8oz milk
4 - nap
5.30 - dinner
6.30 - bath and wind down time
7 - 8oz milk

Now the problem is he really doesn’t want his lunch. It could be that it’s due to the constant cold he’s had or teething but he’s being doing it for a few weeks on and off. Sometimes he does it with every meal!! As the title suggests do u think I should give home milk after his lunch? Or give him half and 11 and the rest before his nap?

This is my second but I still feel like I have no idea haha 😆

I would say that's quite a lot of milk if baby is taking solids quite well? I'd cut down on the amount of milk

I was at paediatric dietitian appointment this afternoon. She said at this age it’s still about exploring textures and to not worry if very little is actually eaten.

Some babies need half a feed to satisfy the hunger, then food, then more milk when you first start.

I wouldn't worry about meal times, just give some food when he's in a good mood and it'll naturally fall into a natural pattern

I give a 4oz feed for the 10.30am bottle and perhaps a piece of banana

According to the NHS they should move to having 3 meals between 8 and 9 months, so if he’s having 3 meals but not eating much of one of them, it’s not really a concern just yet Smile
