Difference in jars/pouches?

Is there any difference in quality of jars and pouches of baby food? Or any that are a trusted brand?

I understand that savoury is better for first foods and am planning on mixed weaning if it will work but don't have a blender or the patience for cooking separate baby meals for purées. Health visitor has been as much use as a chocolate teapot on the matter

Any advice welcome, it's all new to me!

I use cow and gate jars as they contain 2 portions but pouches I used either Heinz or Aldi.

I had the absolute fear of cooking for my wee one as he has a milk allergy but now I'm in the hang of it he mostly gets cooked meals and a pouch or jar if we are out during meal times. He is currently 8 months old!

Look at the ingredients. You dont want lots of water or cheap fillers.
