I did blw with my older DD and I was all set to do the same again but DD2 seems to have multiple allergies so I am thinking of going down the traditional route. I’m all confused by stage of smooth purées and lumps. All advice appreciated. Thanks

Traditional weaning is just giving puree alongside finger foods. Start by pureeing, move to mashing and at the same time offer finger food

Thank you. How much food do I give at each meal, how many meals a day and when do I have to move from purée to less puréed.

Get hold of a copy of Annabel Karmel’s Baby & Toddler Meal Planner book, it talks you through what to feed, how much
& how often from weaning through to fussy toddlers. Good list of basic equipment needed too - no unnecessary kitchen kit required!

Great thanks. I will look out for it.
