OK, so MIL babysat dd (22 weeks) for the first time the other day. This is the first time she's babysat as I have PFB syndrome , also because we can't get dd to take a bottle.
MIL is desperate to feed dd so she can get me out of the picture for a bit and babysit without me around, which I do understand. Having tried and failed repeatedly to get her on a bottle, she is now going on about weaning.
I told her six months which she seemed to accept.
However.
The day after she babysat (and sorry if tmi) dd's poo was rather different to normal. For a start she went twice which she hasn't done since she was 8 weeks or so.
Also there were lumps in it! Not too many but they were sort of cottage cheesey (sorry!) Normally it's just like smooth mustard.
I accept these things can vary for no apparent reason. But I can't stop thinking that MIL has tried to ingratiate herself by feeding dd an ice cream or a biscuit or something.
Both her sons have Crohn's disease which is why I am so cautious about weaning properly. Also my side of the family have allergies. Also I want to do BLW.
So what do you think? Is the poo enough evidence?!! Or is this another PFB moment...
