First time mum (this will soon become blatantly obvious....

My baby boy is 4 months old and the HV came round to discuss weaning him around 6 months. I am dreading it 😭

I have a really overwhelming fear he will choke (no PND just generally anxious as first baby)

I don't even know what advice I'm looking for, maybe reassurance? 😭😐

I imagine a lot of people will tell me to get w grip lol!

You're not being ridiculous. I was like that with my first. Go on a paediatric first aid course (our children's centre hosts them regularly) and a weaning one (NCT do them). Face the fear and do it anyway, you'll feel better for it.

@JohnLapsleyParlabane thank you!! That makes a lot of sense I'm going to get on to it first thing tomorrow! I'm just hoping the next 2 months doesn't go too quick 🤣🤣
