Quick question please! vege-mince for 6.5months old?

It's quite salty. & lots of brands contain egg, so possible allergy risk.

I have fed it to ds when that age, in a sauce with lots of tomatoes, veg etc, but by dd I was using lentils instead

I'd definitely limit it - I think Quorn say when asked that they don't recommend their products to children

Don't seem to do any harm but go straight through...uuurrrgh.

Split pea daal type stuff is good - soak, then fry diced onions & peppers (add curry paste for adult version), chuck in split peas, cubed sweet potato or butternut squash & simmer till squishy - about 40 minutes.

(I seem to have the sort of weaners who seize fistfuls of just about anything off adults' plates - there's not much that's veggie they haven't eaten )
