From weaning till now he's having Ready Break. I am planning to move him to 'standard' porridge when we run out.
However, do you give cereals to your one year old child? If yes, what type?

We have Rice Krispies and weetabix minis. Be advised - weetabix is like cement if it’s allowed to set in the bowl or, worse, the carpet!

I give my 16month old just normal Tesco porridge oats they are about 70p-£1 a pack and lasts us ages also weetabix and banana or Cheerios although I still sit and help feed ds his cereal otherwise it would be plastered everywhere

My DD is 16m. At 1 she would eat Quaker oats porridge, rice crispies, Weetabix, Weetabix minis, Cheerios, Sainsbury's own brand toddler cereal that is in the shapes of seahorses and stuff...

Weetabix, Shreddies, low sugar cheerios. He doesn't like whole oats so I blend them a little before I make porridge (working on making them larger and larger so I don't need to bother with this).

I think the rice crispies will be next up, he's not had them!

My husband eats cereal for breakfast and he's moaning that it's all baby appropriate since I don't want more than one box in the house.
