My 5.5mo DS is still fully BF, but he LOVES playing with his Tommee Tippee cup. I have tried expressing some BM to put in it but takes forever, is it OK to just put a bit of tap water in there for him? (Won't let him drink very much obv.)

Give him cooled boiled water

And the advice is to empty the kettle and then fill it with fresh water before boiling to avoid a build up of minerals from repeatedly boiling water.

I gave tap water from around then. It is ok to give tap water from 6 months anyway so a couple of weeks early isnt going to make much difference. Saves faffing about waiting for the water to cool

Hiya Meg, he'll probably just chuck it on himself to start anyway but my DD was on tap water from about 6 months. Start with cooled boiled water if you're nervous.
