Introducing cow's milk

My DD has recently turned 1 and I'd like to move her from formula to cow's milk, but I'm not sure where to start!

A friend suggested doing it gradually by mixing cow's milk with her formula and gradually reducing the amount of formula so she gets used to the taste but I'm not sure if that's the best way to do it. She's used to warm milk (we use the Perfect Prep machine or boiled water if out) though I know I can warm cow's milk up too... Should I just go cold turkey instead and switch her to cow's milk and see how it goes?

I have been reducing the amount of formula in her bottles (now drinking 5oz 3-4 times a day) and she's dropped a bottle too. We've been trying to feed her food before a bottle too.

Any hits/tips/experience welcome!

I did it one bottle at a time although by age 1 mine only had 2 bottles anyway

DS just changed to cows milk overnight. He tried it, and loved it, and refused formula after that. DD was totally different. She point blank refused cows milk and went absolutely nuts if we gave it to her instead of formula. Eventually she started to tolerate cows milk when she was about 2! Now she loves it and won't even entertain the idea of getting out of bed in the morning before she's had her obligatory cup of milk (she's quite bossy about it! Grin)
