Introducing solids - recommended books or other resources

Baby is 4 months old, not ready yet but want to be prepared for introducing solids when the time comes which may be soon. I know there are different approaches in terms of how, what and when and some very strong views around different methods - what I’m looking for is balanced advice that explains pros and cons of different approaches, as well as info around introducing allergens. Can anyone recommend a book or other resource which is relatively balanced, with a little more guidance than say the NHS stuff?

"Weaning Made Easy" by Rana Conway describes pros and cons of different approaches really well.

"Science of Mom" was also really good. It is about baby stuff in general but had a large section on solids introduction.

I'll second the recommendation for "weaning made easy"

My LO is 5mo and I've felt so overwhelmed by the whole weaning process. Just got the book and already read through cover to cover and feel ready to start tackling it this week!
