I know thatup until 1 year their milk is most important and they get everything they need from that but dd is now 13 mths and her food intake doesnt seem to be inceasing and just wondered what is normal for this age?

I did start her initially on purees until I heard about blw so she now feeds herself with her fingers with most things (I spoon feed things like yoghurt but she is starting to attempt this now too)

She does still have 3 milk feeds, morning, bedtime and usually mid afternoon - should I cut this back to 2? She does love her milk though!

Had same problem with DD who is now 15 months. She didn't start to eat more until I cut right back on her milk. She now has milk with cereal most mornings and milk before bed. Don't know what 'normal' is but hope this helps!

As long as she has an interest in food (even if doesn't eat much) and her weight is ok, however much she wants to eat is the right amount.

I wouldn't worry too much about the milk.

i think my dd didn't cut back her milk until 14 months, when she went from as i recall 5 bottles to 2 over a very short period. it coincided with her naps changing, i think.

Thanks everyone, her weight gain is fine and no problems so will just let her continue as she is for now and looks like when she is ready she will adjust things herself!

Its nice to have others opinions if just to say you are doing everything ok!!
